Description
Wide-leg jeans are where “tall” sizing gets most fraudulent — most brands give you a 32-inch inseam on a silhouette that needs 36+ to drape correctly. The Alice is cut at a verified 36 inches, which means the leg has room to fall cleanly from the hip without bunching at the knee. Rise is a true 12 inches — sits above the navel, creates the leg-lengthening proportion wide-legs are supposed to deliver. Leg opening is 24 inches, genuine wide-leg territory.
Fabric is a heavier 12-oz cotton denim with 1% elastane — just enough stretch to let you sit without the waistband cutting in, not enough to let the leg collapse. On my 5’11” frame these hit exactly at the top of my platform loafers and pool slightly at ballet flats. Honest negatives: the weight of the fabric means they’re warm in summer; the 24-inch leg opening will drag on stairs and escalators if you’re wearing flats. Size runs true in the waist.
Why we recommend it: Wide-leg with the rise and length to actually create the silhouette. Not a cropped wide-leg masquerading as tall.
