Tumbleweed Style is an independent fashion publication covering affordable contemporary brands, resale finds, and honest style reviews. No sponsored posts. No pay-to-play placements. Just clothes we’ve actually worn, washed, and lived in.
How we got here
We started as a thrift resale shop in 2018. After eight years in the business — buying, selling, and wearing thousands of pieces — we learned what holds up and what falls apart after three washes. Tumbleweed Style is where that knowledge lives.
The domain still says “thrift” because we earned our Google footprint under that name and we’re not about to throw it away. But the editorial scope is broader now: brand deep-dives, fit comparisons, wholesale guides, and the affordable fashion finds our readers actually search for.
What we cover
- Brand reviews — Judy Blue, Kancan, Vervet, Flying Monkey, Z Supply, Free People dupes, and dozens more. We cover fit, fabric quality, sizing accuracy, and whether the price is actually worth it.
- Fit guides and sizing comparisons — Side-by-side breakdowns so you stop guessing between a 27 and a 28.
- Wholesale buying guides — For boutique owners sourcing contemporary brands. Minimum orders, margin expectations, and which reps to call.
- Deals and finds — The best new and resale picks, refreshed regularly.
How we work
Every piece we review, we’ve held in our hands. Most of them, we’ve worn for weeks. We don’t accept sponsored content. If a brand sends product for review, we say so. If something runs small, pills after one wash, or looks nothing like the product photos — we say that too.
Our revenue comes from affiliate links. If you buy something through a link on this site, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That’s it. No display ads cluttering your screen, no pop-ups begging for your email, no “sign up to read more” gates.
Who runs this
Tumbleweed Style is run by Eugene, based in the US. What started as a Poshmark closet turned Shopify store turned into a full editorial operation. Eight years of buying and selling clothes will do that.
