Description
Curve Love is Abercrombie’s fit designed for pear-shaped and curvier bodies — two more inches through the hip and thigh than the standard cut, with the waistband proportioned to prevent the classic size-down-for-the-waist-up-for-the-hip struggle. The Wide Leg version keeps the same 11-12″ rise and 22-23″ leg opening, just cut with more room where curves actually go.
The denim is the same cotton-blend as the standard Abercrombie — about 1% stretch, medium weight, moderate break-in. After ten-plus washes my pair (I sized into Curve Love for this test) held shape through heavy wear with no thigh-bagging, no waist-gap at the back. The fit solves an actual problem that standard wide legs don’t address. Honest negatives: if you’re not curvy, Curve Love will feel baggy at the seat and thigh — it’s cut intentionally roomier, and that room reads as extra fabric if you don’t need it. Stick with the standard cut. Also: the inseam options are the same as standard Abercrombie (short to extra-long), which is the category’s best.
Why we recommend it: The curve-specific wide leg. Two more inches at hip and thigh, waistband proportioned for curves. The fit that actually addresses pear shapes.
