Roper boots originated as the working cowboy’s everyday boot, with the lower heel making them safer to walk in than traditional cowboy heels. Today they’re the practical choice for women who actually use their boots.
The Unbridled line uses Ariat’s softer, more pliable leather — broken in faster than the Heritage R Toe, with a more relaxed look from day one. The 4LR (4 Layer Rebound) footbed is the most cushioned in the Ariat lineup — if you’re on your feet all day, these are the cowboy boots you want. Honest note: roper boots have a distinctly different silhouette from cowboy boots — shorter shaft, lower heel, more rounded proportions. They read as Western workwear, not Western fashion.
