Description
Good American’s Good 90s Wide Leg is the premium vintage-baggy cut with actual size inclusivity (00-24+). Front rise is about 12″, leg opening is 22-24″ (wider on the larger sizes, proportioned), inseam runs 30-32″. At 5’7″ and a size 28, this is the cut I grab when I want the 90s baggy aesthetic in premium fabric, and when I want to recommend a wide leg to friends in sizes 18+ who get ignored by the other premium brands.
The denim is a medium-heavy cotton-blend with about 2% stretch — heavier than mass-market, lighter than Agolde’s rigid. After ten-plus washes the silhouette has held beautifully, with the vintage baggy drape intact and no knee or seat bagging. Honest negatives: $149 is a real spend, and the silhouette sits between Levi’s 94 Baggy ($82) and Agolde Baggy ($198) — if you’re picking on silhouette alone, Levi’s delivers similar for less. The Good American premium is the fabric quality and the size range, which genuinely deliver.
Why we recommend it: The size-inclusive premium baggy. 22-24″ opening, 12″ rise, sizes 00-24+. The wide leg that actually fits bodies above a size 16.
