Description
Abercrombie’s Curve Love line adds about two inches of room through the seat, hip, and thigh without changing the waist size — so if you’ve ever had the classic problem of jeans fitting in the waist but squeezing the seat, this is the design solution. The Ultra High Rise Mom sits at about 12″ rise on the 28 (genuinely the highest I own), with a tapered hem around 14″ that reads textbook mom jean.
I reach for these constantly when I want the full sculpted mom-jean look — the 12″ rise is dramatic, the Curve Love fit through the hip is generous, and the tapered hem is the defining silhouette. Honest note: Abercrombie’s denim has a lot of stretch (about 12% elastane by feel), which means they ARE more forgiving but they also sag out through a full day of wear. Give them a tug after sitting. The rigid Levi’s and Agolde offerings hold their shape better over time, but these are the more comfortable choice day-to-day.
Why we recommend it: The high-rise mom jean for curvier builds. 12″ rise, Curve Love fit through hip and thigh, tapered hem. The full sculpted mom silhouette with generous proportions.
