Description
The 90s Ultra High Rise is Abercrombie’s vintage-spec mom jean — similar 12″ rise to the Curve Love version, but cut with a more authentic ’90s proportion: roomier through the waist, slightly looser in the thigh than the regular mom, and the same tapered hem (around 14-15″ on the 28). The denim has a rigid-adjacent feel (less stretch than the standard mom), which makes them behave more like a real vintage jean.
These are my closest thing to a real 90s thrift find without actually thrifting. The rise, the thigh, the hem — everything scales up a notch in the vintage direction. Honest note: the regular (non-Curve-Love) 90s Mom runs SLIM through the thigh for an “Ultra High Rise” jean — the mismatch has caused sizing complaints. If you have built quads or a curvier lower half, go Curve Love 90s instead. The rise is genuinely 12 inches, so plan outfits accordingly (some tops will be too short).
Why we recommend it: Abercrombie’s most vintage-spec mom jean. 12″ rise, ’90s proportions, tapered hem. The closest thing to a thrift-store find without the hunt.
